All About That Growth

Hey there!

I’m Leesa and I am a passionate Melbourne-based Digital Channel Manager with a music industry edge.

My involvement in the music industry is extensive and broad. I have a Music Performance Bachelor of Arts from Monash University and an Entertainment Management Bachelor of Business from Collarts. I’ve worked in multiple areas of the industry including musician bookings, music performance, music education, marketing, publicity, artist management, events, festivals and in creative agencies.

I had the pleasure of living in the United States for 7 months and worked in the social media department in an incredible agency called Weller Media Agency (WMA) in Brooklyn, New York. I learnt copious amounts about social media, advertising, marketing and creative from a large scale music industry perspective.

At WMA, I worked across a range of clients from major labels to independent artists. Audits, social strategy, research, content planning, social scheduling, monthly reports, creative briefs and copywriting are all things I’m very familiar with.

I truly love social media because it is an organic way to connect with an audience and to help support artists and businesses. With all my previous music industry experience, being social media savvy has allowed me to connect the dots between my passions. Brainstorming new campaigns for social strategy is always the best part of my day. I get to be creative while supporting an art form and the artist or business gets to see their project creatively come to life. Even better, these campaigns garner real time results and stats that allow strategic foresight for the next campaign.
